Our Story:
Dynamo Jump was born when several musicians started playing together in the Ventura and Santa Barbara, California music scene. After some time, a line-up was solidified and a vast set list was compiled.
Combining blues and R&B hits from the likes of Louis Jordan, and Ray Charles with rock-n-roll classics by Chuck Berry, and Fats Domino the band soon attracted a following that would allow them to play any great song regardless of genre. Soon jazz standards from Duke Ellington and Miles Davis were set up next to songs from The Band, and Bob Dylan. After a year or so and hundreds of shows later, Dynamo Jump was ready to record it's own brand of good time music.
Drummer and singer,
Jerry McWorter, flexed
his songwriting muscles
incorporating
all of
Dynamo Jumps' many
influences with an
ear for melody and groove.
Each
player, adding his own
stamp and style, creates
a truly unique sound.

Guitarist Doug
Daily plays soulful blues
and scorchin' rock-n-roll,
all with an
inventive
and original touch.
Master trumpet player
Jeff Elliot blows like
nobody's business.
His raw and emotional
style gives the band
that authentic
New Orleans
flavor.
Pianist J. D.
Bender's jazz background
helps
bring
an uptown edge, while
his firm grip of
rock
& blues
retain the down and dirty swing.

Bass duties were split
between group member
Jay Zemliak and
part time member
Brent Harding.
Each plays
string bass and
keeps Dynamo Jump
solid and swinging.

Guitar, accordian, sax,
pedal steel, fiddle.
Its all just music to Bill.

Legendary guitarist Albert Lee has been playing
with the band for about 5 years as his schedule
permits. When he is not on the road with
rock-n-roll greats or in Europe touring with
his own band, he graciously lends his virtuosity
to Dynamo Jump. You can hear Albert play on our
newest CD Dynamo Jump...Tear'n it up.
